Role offers a highly technical environment for data center systems, with a compensation package including $144,000–$208,000 per year, 15% bonus target, equity, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in electrical engineering emphasizing power distribution and construction support for mission-critical facilities.
• Experience with Low and Medium Voltage systems, including switchgear and transformers.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, work in the field wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and inspect equipment during critical construction phase.
• Understanding of mechanical and control systems to facilitate cross-discipline collaboration.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to navigate a complex matrix organization.

Responsibilities

• Define data center system-level, product architecture, and research and development, while helping to develop operations and maintenance procedures for systems/processes.
• Conduct engineering analysis, research designs and methods of data center equipment and facilities.
• Ensure designs and installations meet requirements (e.g., predicted cooling, structural, operational concerns, etc.).
• Bring technical authority to the construction site. Serve as the bridge between design and execution, ensuring that complex power infrastructure is built safely and correctly.
• Act as a technical mentor and advisor to electrical contractors, ensuring the RFI process is streamlined and technically sound.
