Job summary

Delta Electronics Americas in Fremont, CA is seeking a highly skilled R&D Engineer to join the ICTBG team supporting Data Center Power Solutions. This role focuses on developing and supporting advanced power infrastructure for hyperscale data centers and COLO environments across the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) or related field.
• 3–6 years of power electronics experience, with strong low-power and medium-voltage exposure.
• Hands-on knowledge of data center power infrastructure and critical power systems.
• Experience supporting or designing UPS, STS, PDU, and RPP systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis capabilities.
• Experience working with enterprise customers or large-scale data center operators.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to travel domestically up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site troubleshooting and technical support for Delta data center power products.
• Travel to customer sites across the U.S. approximately twice per month.
• Support development and optimization of Delta ICTBG product portfolio including UPS, STS, PDU, and RPP.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Service, and Design teams; interface with customers for deployment, troubleshooting and product improvements.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, SOPs and MOPs.
• Train and support Field Service Engineers; develop training materials and knowledge-sharing programs.
• Gather customer feedback and UX requirements; drive product enhancements and continuous improvement.
