Job summary

Delta Electronics Americas seeks a highly skilled R&D Engineer to support Data Center Power Solutions within ICTBG, focusing on advanced power infrastructure for hyperscale and COLO data centers across the United States.

The role requires deep expertise in power electronics, data center electrical infrastructure, and strong collaboration with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Service, and Design teams to enable deployment, troubleshooting, and continuous product improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) or related field.
3–6 years of power electronics with strong low to medium voltage experience.
Hands-on knowledge of data center power infrastructure and critical power systems.
Experience designing or supporting UPS systems, STS, PDUs and RPPs.
Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis capabilities.
Experience working with enterprise customers or large-scale data centers.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to travel domestically up to 25%.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site troubleshooting and technical support for Delta data center power products.
Support customer operational issues across hyperscale and COLO environments.
Collect and investigate failure information to the factory.
Travel to customer sites throughout the U.S. approximately twice per month.
