Job summary

Meta seeks an experienced energy professional to support the development of cost-effective energy solutions for its data centers. You will help shape interconnection and energy supply agreements, monitor milestones, and build partnerships with internal teams and external partners.

You will lead negotiations, manage due diligence and site development, and drive process improvements to deliver capacity while balancing business needs. Domestic travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a directly related field.
• 12+ years of relevant work experience with utilities, energy project developers, design/consulting firms, construction firms or energy-intensive sectors.
• Working knowledge of transmission, distribution and interconnection processes and electrical infrastructure.
• Experience leading complex, large-scale project development and management.
• Strong ability to manage multiple projects and communicate status to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Excel and presentation tools (PowerPoint/Keynote).

Responsibilities

• Support energy infrastructure strategies for Meta's data centers.
• Establish and communicate energy requirements to stakeholders.
• Lead negotiations for energy infrastructure agreements and present recommendations to leadership.
• Manage due diligence, site development, construction, and related commercial processes.
• Coordinate with utility partners, internal teams, and consultants with autonomy.
