Job summary

Meta is seeking an experienced energy professional to support the development of cost-effective energy solutions for its data centers. You will contribute to Meta’s data center energy strategy across site selection, construction, and operations, coordinating with Energy Managers and external partners.

You will lead negotiations for interconnection and energy supply agreements, manage due diligence and project delivery, and drive process improvements to maximize capacity and reduce costs while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 12+ years of relevant work experience in energy, utility, or energy project development roles.
• Working knowledge of transmission, distribution and interconnection processes.
• Experience with project development and management for large-scale projects.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholder communications.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint/Keynote skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of energy infrastructure strategies for Meta data centers.
• Establish energy requirements with internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead negotiations for energy infrastructure agreements aligned with policies.
• Manage due diligence, site development, construction, and commercial processes for energy matters.
• Coordinate with utility partners, internal teams, and consultants, driving milestones and deliverables.
