Job summary

Anthropic is seeking an engineer to sit at the intersection of IT and facilities, shaping power, cooling, and load planning for our data centers. You will model power distribution, validate telemetry, and define capacity targets, while coordinating with data center developers, cloud providers, and hardware teams to ensure SLA-grade performance.

You'll own topologies, reliability models, and forecasting across a fleet of sites, influencing site selection and operator interfaces.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of experience in data center infrastructure or reliability engineering.
• Experience with data center power distribution and cooling system architectures.
• Cross-functional collaboration across hardware, software, and facilities teams.

Responsibilities

• Topology and load management: own power/cooling topology and load management across sites and providers.
• Reliability modeling: build and audit availability models for data center systems.
• Power modeling and load forecasting: create models from workload and hardware data to guide capacity planning.
• Partner diligence: work with data center developers, cloud providers and chip vendors to ensure SLA-grade performance.
