Job summary

Anthropic Limited is seeking an engineer at the intersection of IT and facilities to shape our data center power and cooling topology and optimize how loads are managed across the fleet. You will model reliability, forecast power needs, and work with external partners to drive design improvements across sites.

The role requires strong knowledge of data center infrastructure, cross-functional collaboration, and experience with power management and telemetry systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering field.
• 5+ years in data center infrastructure, facility, or reliability engineering.
• Experience with data center power distribution and cooling architectures.
• Experience building quantitative reliability or availability models or power/capacity models.
• Experience with software-based power management or load shedding systems.

Responsibilities

• Own the power and cooling topology of the fleet and define load management across failures.
• Build and audit availability models for data center electrical and mechanical systems.
• Develop power draw models from chip to facility to set capacity targets and load forecasts.
• Collaborate with data center developers, cloud providers, and vendors to improve designs and SLA-grade performance.
