Job summary

Thor Companies is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a live data center construction project in Kansas City. The role acts as the owner's representative, owning project delivery and holding the GC accountable for progress, program, quality, and cost.

This hands-on position requires a data center, mission-critical or complex MEP background, with strong GC management and autonomous execution to drive milestones.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager or Construction Manager on complex projects.
• Data center or mission-critical experience preferred.
• Strong GC management, scheduling and subcontractor coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee GC delivery, schedule, quality and safety.
• Manage progress, critical-path activities, risks and recovery plans.
• Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, equipment vendors and other stakeholders.
• Monitor MEP installation and equipment deliveries.
• Manage change orders, cost control, RFIs and issues.
• Coordinate commissioning readiness, testing and handover.
• Provide regular progress updates to the owner's team.
