Job summary

Colliers Project Leaders is seeking a Project Manager to join our Owner's Rep team in Kansas City, MO. You will plan, coordinate, and direct all activities delivering a datacenter project, liaising with Design Managers, clients, consultants, contractors and vendors.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of project management and 2+ years in data center construction, with strong budgeting, scheduling and MEP systems knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of project management experience.
• 2+ years of data center construction experience.
• General contracting, construction management, equipment vendor or architecture experience preferred.
• Extensive familiarity with construction scheduling, budgeting and cost controls.
• Working technical knowledge of MEP systems and how data centers operate.
• Ability to read, write and understand English for written communications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee large scale construction projects that range from site development to data center buildouts.
• Manage base building and tenant MEP systems design and implementation.
• Establish and maintain relationships with general contractors, subcontractors, equipment vendors and consultants.
• Review budgeting and scheduling deliverables for content, quality and adherence to budgets and schedules.
• Act as a subject matter expert in construction matters for potential leases and ongoing projects.
• Lead budget and schedule reviews with the construction team.
• Discuss objectives and budgets with clientele, design staff, and senior leadership.
• Create and maintain budgets and schedules for multiple sites in various design/construction stages.
• Coordinate entitlements with consultants and government agencies for permitting.
