Job summary

SpaceXAI is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to help build, activate, and maintain advanced data centers. You will work with infrastructure engineers and technicians, solving complex problems with autonomy while delivering high-quality service.

You will manage plumbing systems, perform hands-on maintenance, read schematics, and ensure compliance with building codes. Strong communication and prioritization are essential in this fast-paced, high-stakes environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of professional plumbing experience.
• Knowledge of plumbing codes and safety standards.
• Experience with HVAC, electrical, or mechanical systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers, managers, and customers to maintain plumbing systems in peak operating condition; develop/update work instructions to prevent outages.
• Assemble, install, repair, and maintain pipes, fittings, and drainage systems per specs and codes.
• Perform hands-on shop and on-site work: inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and reassembly of pumps and mechanical equipment.
• Read and interpret schematics and blueprints; ensure compliance with manufacturer specs.
• Complete safety inspections and provide recommendations to supervisors as needed.
• Operate forklifts and other lifting equipment as required.
• Open, track, and resolve electronic work tickets in SpaceX systems.
