Job summary

SpaceXAI is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our operations team and help build, activate, and maintain our advanced data centers. You will work autonomously with engineers and technicians to ensure reliable mechanical and HVAC systems in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, repairs, reading schematics, and complying with building codes. A hands-on, self-starting attitude and strong communication are essential for success at SpaceXAI.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of professional experience with HVAC, plumbing, pneumatic, mechanical, or electrical systems.
• Technical certification or journeyman/master level in relevant trades is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers, managers, and customers to maintain systems and develop maintenance instructions.
• Maintain and repair HVAC equipment including air handlers, chilled water, pumps, cooling towers, valves, and filters.
• Perform ductwork, brazing, soldering, and refrigerant evacuation/charging as needed.
• Assemble, install, repair, and maintain pipes, fittings, heating, water, and drainage systems.
• Read and interpret schematics for assembly, repair, and reassembly.
• Follow site compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
