SpaceXAI is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join the operations team and help build, activate, and maintain data center infrastructure. You will work with a group of infrastructure engineers and technicians to support mission-critical systems and ensure reliability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of professional experience with HVAC, plumbing, pneumatic, mechanical, or electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical language.
• Knowledge of safety standards and building codes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers, managers, and customers to maintain systems and create/update maintenance instructions.
• Maintain and repair HVAC support equipment incl. air handlers, chilled water, pumps, cooling towers, valves, filters.
• Perform ductwork, brazing, soldering, evacuation & charging of refrigerants, piping, insulation repairs.
• Assemble, install, repair, and maintain pipes, heating, water, and drainage systems per codes.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, disassemble, reassemble, and test pumps and mechanical equipment.
