Job summary

Hanwha Energy USA in Houston seeks a Business Development & Planning Associate to drive its data center projects and energy infrastructure initiatives. You will coordinate day-to-day activities, track deliverables, and support planning, budgeting, and management reporting across multiple teams.

Working with development, finance, engineering and legal teams, you will help keep work moving, identify issues early, and prepare clear information for decisions.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of relevant experience in project coordination, business planning, consulting, or a related role.
• Experience coordinating assignments involving multiple teams and following deliverables through to completion.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
• Ability to turn complex information into clear written summaries, presentations, and actionable next steps.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to organize data and perform basic financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project execution: Translate agreed priorities into action plans with clear owners, deliverables, and deadlines.
• Organize project meetings, document decisions, and follow up on outstanding actions.
• Maintain project visibility: Keep schedules, milestone trackers, and issue logs current; identify dependencies and delays.
• Elevate matters requiring management decisions with a clear explanation of impact.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across Hanwha affiliates and external partners.
• Support business planning and budgeting: Consolidate team inputs into annual business plans and budgets.
• Track progress and explain variances with responsible teams.
• Prepare management reporting: Draft concise presentations and project updates on progress, budgets, risks, and decisions.
