Job summary

Hanwha Energy USA, headquartered in Houston, Texas, is seeking a Corporate Strategy Associate to help shape the growth of our clean energy businesses. You will support strategy for core solar/storage and new opportunities such as data centers and hydrogen, using qualitative and quantitative analysis to generate actionable insights.

This role requires cross-functional collaboration, strong financial modeling, and the ability to present findings to senior executives as part of the annual planning

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, statistics, business administration or related field.
• 1+ years of experience in corporate strategy or similar role.
• Experience collaborating across departments/teams.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Excellent writing, verbal, and visual communications (PowerPoint, Excel).
• Experience with power market fundamentals and renewables preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze market, competitor, and technology dynamics in renewables to generate actionable insights.
• Support development of growth strategy for core and new business areas.
• Lead strategic task forces from problem definition to recommendations.
• Work cross-functionally and present insights to senior executives.
• Contribute to the annual strategic planning process and implementation.
• Perform financial modeling including outlook, NPV, and scenario analysis.
• Identify potential partnerships and manage work with consultants.
