Job summary

Amazon Sparks, NV is seeking an experienced Data Center Operations Manager to oversee the critical infrastructure and 24x7 engineering teams. You will drive improvements across construction, maintenance, and operations while coordinating with multiple support teams to ensure reliability and customer satisfaction.

The role requires a strong background in electrical/mechanical systems and vendor management, with a focus on hiring, developing, and leading high-performing teams in a large-scale data

Qualifications

• 5+ years of management experience
• 4+ years of general contractor and vendor management work in construction
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems in data centers
• Experience hiring, developing and managing high-performing technical teams

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the data center's critical infrastructure
• Manage 24x7 engineering technicians and facility managers
• Drive improvement projects from conception to completion
• Ensure staffing scales with expansions
• Be involved in ongoing construction activities
• Coordinate daily with third party vendors to meet SLAs
• Manage operations budget and expenditures
