Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a Site Lead for Data Center Operations to own site outcomes across partner-operated data halls. You will drive deployment velocity, availability, and incident response, coordinating with vendor teams and senior leadership to ensure commitments are met.

You will define operational processes, governance rhythms, and playbooks fleet‑wide while overseeing performance against SLAs and escalating issues as needed.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data center operations (hardware, IT infrastructure, or critical facilities) as a manager or technical lead.
• Managed vendors, MSPs, or contract workforces to measurable outcomes (SOWs, SLAs, reviews).
• Hands-on depth in server, network, and rack infrastructure to audit vendor claims.
• Built or substantially improved operational processes, not just run them.

Responsibilities

• Own site availability, deployment milestones, and repair turnaround with verified data.
• Set daily/weekly priorities and lead the operating cadence with vendors.
• Define and improve deployment, break‑fix, change management, security, and EHS procedures.
• Track vendor performance against SLAs and drive corrective actions.
• Act as Incident Commander for site incidents and manage communications and post‑mortems.
• Translate engineering requirements into vendor direction and communicate constraints to leadership.
