Qualifications

• 2+ years in a data center or critical facility environment.
• Experience with mission-critical building systems including UPS, emergency generators, switchgear, and power distribution equipment.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to document activities and communicate technical information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain critical building systems to ensure 100% uptime (fire/life safety, HVAC, chillers, CRAC/CRAH, plumbing, controls, UPS, gens, switchgear, power distribution, transformers).
• Monitor and maintain refrigeration, chilled water, air conditioning equipment, boilers, pumps, valves, piping, and electrical systems for optimal performance.
• Record equipment readings, analyze operations, identify problems, and take corrective action.
• Manage work orders through CMMS, coordinate with vendors, respond to tickets professionally.
• Learn data center infrastructure to effectively manage incidents and events impacting critical systems.
• Follow emergency procedures and respond to site emergencies to protect operations.
• Maintain safe storage, handling, and disposal of hazardous materials; keep the workplace clean and compliant.
