Job summary

Salute in Meridian, Mississippi seeks a Data Center Operator to ensure the continuous, reliable operation of our U.S. data center facilities. You will monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot power, cooling, and security systems to prevent downtime and protect data.

This role requires flexible shifts including nights and weekends. You will log activities, respond to alarms, coordinate with vendors, and support disaster recovery drills to sustain our IT infrastructure.

Qualifications

  • Maintain logs and documentation of operations and incidents.
  • Coordinate with vendors for repairs, upgrades, preventive maintenance.
  • Assist in hardware and cabling installation/decommissioning.
  • Support disaster recovery drills and emergency responses.

The Data Center Operator plays a critical role in ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of data center facilities that support business services across the United States. This position is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting the physical and environmental infrastructure of the data center, including power, cooling, and security systems. The operator ensures that all systems are functioning optimally to prevent downtime and data loss, thereby supporting the organization's IT infrastructure and business continuity. Collaboration with technical teams to elevate and resolve issues promptly is essential to minimize operational disruptions. Minimum Qualifications:
