Job summary

Salute Inc. in Meridian, MS seeks a Data Center Operator to monitor and maintain critical infrastructure across the United States. You will oversee power, cooling, security, and environmental controls to keep systems running smoothly.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Monitor data center environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity, and airflow to ensure optimal operating conditions.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance of power distribution units, backup generators, cooling systems, and fire suppression equipment.
  • Respond promptly to alarms and alerts, diagnosing and resolving issues or escalating them to appropriate technical teams.
  • Manage physical access controls and security protocols to safeguard data center assets and sensitive information.
  • Maintain accurate logs and documentation of operational activities, incidents, and maintenance procedures.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers for equipment repairs, upgrades, and preventive maintenance.
  • Assist in the installation and decommissioning of hardware and cabling within the data center environment.
  • Participate in disaster recovery drills and support emergency response efforts as needed.
