Job summary

Element Critical is seeking an Operations Technician I to support our critical infrastructure operations in Austin, TX. This role focuses on site security, shipping/receiving, customer support via ticketing systems, and hands-on network and infrastructure installations to maintain uptime and respond to alerts.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in security operations, data center operations, or customer service, strong MS Office skills, and good written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate has 2–4 years in Security Operations, Data Center Operations or Customer Service.
• Proficient in Security System hardware/software and Data Center monitoring tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, and eagerness to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform site security functions including badge processing and access control enrollment.
• Process NetSuite cases for site access, shipping/receiving, and customer requests.
• Monitor alerts, dispatch requests, and create customer communications and notifications.
• Assist with service order installation, fiber/copper work, and remote hands on-site.
• Document problems and maintain records in facility and service order systems.
