Amazon Inc. is seeking a Data Center Facility Manager to lead and safeguard our critical infrastructure across multiple data centers in Chicago. You will oversee electrical and mechanical systems, coordinate 24x7 engineering teams, and drive reliability, safety, and efficiency while balancing cost and performance.

This role requires hands-on leadership, vendor coordination, budget management, and a focus on continuous improvement in a high‑visibility environment. On-site five days a week.

Competenze

• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
• 3+ years of experience with industrial electrical or mechanical systems.
• 5+ years in a managerial/supervisory role with 8-10 direct reports.

Mansioni

• Oversee all aspects of the data center's critical infrastructure.
• Ensure safety, security, availability, quality, and performance of the team.
• Manage teams of 24x7 engineering technicians and Facility Managers.
• Engage in improvement projects and drive them from conception to completion.
• Coordinate daily with third-party vendors and adhere to SLAs.
• Effectively manage the operations budget and expenditures.
• Provide on-site management five days a week; no remote work.
