Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Facility Manager to lead critical physical infrastructure and ensure high availability across data centers in the US. You will oversee 24x7 onsite technicians, coordinate safety, budget, and expansion projects while driving reliability and efficiency.

You will troubleshoot power, cooling, and building systems, mentor staff, and partner with global AWS teams to maintain 99.999% uptime and operational excellence in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee data center critical physical infrastructure and ensure high availability.
• Manage on-site 24x7 teams, subcontractors, and vendors with safety compliance.
• Drive safety culture, budget management, and project delivery from conception to completion.
• Act as escalation point for facilities issues across multiple sites if needed.
