Job summary

US Signal Company, L.L.C. is seeking a Data Center Manager to own a mission-critical data center, overseeing uptime, safety, budgets, and the on-site team. The role requires hands-on leadership with authority over outcomes and strategic site growth.

You will lead operations, incident command when needed, and collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Sales and customers to drive reliable performance and scalable expansion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years in facilities, electrical or mechanical engineering.
• 4+ years in data centers including electrical, HVAC, fire suppression, and security systems.
• 2+ years of direct people leadership experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Own site operations end to end, including uptime, safety, and compliance.
• Act as incident commander to drive fast, effective resolution when needed.
• Direct documentation, procedures, and process standards for repeatable operations.
• Lead growth projects, pricing, and infrastructure deployments aligned with capacity strategy.
• Manage OPEX and CAPEX budgets, vendor contracts, and asset lifecycle.
• Lead the site team and cross-functional partners to deliver projects.

Education

Bachelor's degree or 4+ years in facilities management, electrical or mechanical engineering

2+ years of direct people leadership experience

Planning, budgeting, scheduling

Fiber optic technology knowledge
