Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Facility Manager to lead and own the critical physical infrastructure across our data centers, ensuring reliability, uptime, and safe operations.

You will manage on-site 24x7 teams and contractors, partner with support groups, and drive cost-efficient, compliant operations. This role requires 4+ years in data-center leadership and hands-on knowledge of UPS, generators, switchgear, HVAC, and cooling systems; based in Boardman, Oregon.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a management position with 5+ direct reports.
• 5+ years in data center or mission-critical environment with UPS, generators, HVAC.
• Advanced electrical or mechanical certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the data center’s critical physical infrastructure.
• Maintain high availability and performance while meeting SLAs.
• Manage on-site teams of 24x7 technicians, subcontractors and vendors.
• Drive safety and security culture and compliance within the team.
• Hire, coach, and promote team members and manage performance.
• Oversee operation and management of routine and emergency services on critical systems.
