Job summary

Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. seeks a Data Center Operations Engineer to ensure adherence to procedures and best practices in the Data Center & Access Center.

The role covers daily checks, asset management, and coordinating with third parties to keep records accurate across centralized systems. The DCOE will handle capacity management for cables and hardware, execute change-controlled tasks, and support incident/workflow management in Service Now, contributing to reliable ICE colocation

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in Data Center environments.
• Experience in ITIL controlled environments; familiarity with Change Control, Incident Management & Problem Management.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to work with 3rd party contractors.

Responsibilities

• Install, relocate and recover Network, Server and Storage hardware to vendor standards.
• Perform monthly audits of stored items and report anomalies.
• Maintain asset records and update location/status in systems.
• Manage goods in/out process for storage facility with full records.
