Qualifications

• Proactive and flexible, able to work in a team or independently.
• Experience with hardware installation standards and copper/fibre cabling.
• Experience in data center environments and ITIL processes.

Responsibilities

• Install, relocate and recover network, server and storage hardware to manufacturer standards.
• Repair hardware to major component level across vendor equipment.
• Follow Data Center processes and procedures for all work.
• Manage goods in/out for dedicated storage and keep asset records updated.
• Process RMAs for damaged or failed hardware.
• Carry out monthly audits and report anomalies.
• Update asset records with location and status changes.
• Document all installations, moves or changes.
• Perform daily housekeeping checks of data halls and report findings.
• Control data center stocks and report shortages.
• Cover holidays and sickness to support SLAs.
