BSO in New York City seeks a Director of Data Center Operations to lead facility performance, vendor management, and client service delivery in a Tier III colocation environment.

You will oversee uptime, capacity planning, compliance, and SLA adherence while directing cross-functional teams, managing vendor contracts, and driving strategic initiatives for multi-tenant infrastructure and mission-critical workloads.

Qualifications

• 8-12+ years in mission-critical data center operations.
• 5+ years in leadership roles.
• Experience with ISO, SOC 2, PCI-DSS, and audits.
• Bachelor's in Engineering, Facilities Management, or IT-related field.
• Certifications: ATD, PMP, OSHA 30, ITIL, ISO Lead Auditor.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Tier III data center operations (mechanical, electrical, IT).
• Ensure 100% uptime through proactive maintenance and incident response.
• Lead capacity planning, space/power forecasting, and optimization.
• Manage vendor contracts and enforce SLAs with KPIs.
• Support onboarding of tenants and align with colocation standards.
