Job summary

CBRE seeks a Data Center Account Operations Director to oversee total account operations and maximize uptime of complex mechanical systems. You will bridge client management with hands-on technical oversight, leading an elite engineering team and managing multi-million dollar budgets.

Based in North America, you will support strategic direction, operational excellence, and facilities management for data center portfolios, driving process improvements and cross-functional partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-12 years relevant experience.
• Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
• Experience working in critical facilities, data centers, or industrial or manufacturing facilities is preferred.
• Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated information and convey performance expectations.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees; monitor training, evaluations, and coaching; oversee recruitment.
• Coordinate and manage team activities; assign tasks, set deadlines, and mentor staff.
• Assist with executing operational strategies for a small market area.
• Partner with senior management to develop strategies that optimize operational performance.
• Direct regional business operations and collaborate with internal departments.
