Job summary

As a Data Center Operator, you will monitor workflows, respond to alerts, manage tapes and storage, and coordinate downtime and maintenance with IT teams.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and basic computer operations experience; healthcare system experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; basic computer operations knowledge
• Ability to monitor and operate data-center equipment and respond to alerts within defined procedures

Responsibilities

• Sustain daily data center operations to support the system and partners
• Interface with systems using commands, utilities and manuals to ensure accuracy
• Perform daily data processing and monitor logs for errors and recovery actions
• Respond to environmental alerts and escalate within defined time frames
• Inspect network closets to ensure regulatory and WellSpan requirements are met
• Assist with security monitoring and incident response coordination
