Job summary

Switch is seeking a Network Infrastructure Supervisor to lead day-to-day network infrastructure operations in a 24/7 data center. You will supervise technicians on shift, ensure safety and adherence to procedures, and act as the first escalation point for operational issues.

You’ll focus on consistency, service quality, coach staff, assist in onboarding, and maintain space cleanliness and inventory while tracking basic performance metrics for management.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of supervisory or team lead experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily work for Network Infrastructure Technicians and ensure tasks are completed according to procedure.
• Serve as the first escalation point for urgent network infrastructure issues during assigned shifts.
• Ensure consistent use of policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Perform quality checks on completed work and address gaps in execution or documentation.
• Support shift scheduling and coverage planning to meet operational demand.
• Track and document basic performance metrics and provide updates to management.
• Interpret and respond to mission-critical alerts, escalating issues when required.
• Ensure tools, test equipment, and materials are available, maintained, and inventoried.
• Provide hands-on coaching and on-the-job training for technicians.
• Support interviewing, onboarding, and ramp-up of new team members.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of network spaces, including meet-me rooms and IDFs.
• Travel locally or domestically when required to support business needs.
