Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Network Deploy Technician to join our infrastructure operations team in Herndon, VA.

You will work with minimal supervision to support upgrading and expanding our data center networks, and collaborate with internal customers and vendors to ensure smooth project execution. The role requires 2+ years of hardware troubleshooting and 1+ year networking experience, with a willingness to travel within and outside your regional work area.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.
• 1+ years of computer networking experience.
• High school or equivalent diploma.

Responsibilities

• Managing work and priorities through ticketing system and workflows to complete customer requests and projects.
• Collaborating with various stakeholders to remove project obstacles.
• Troubleshooting networking, routing and interconnectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords.
• Specifying Power and Cooling requirements and ensuring Hardware Racking/Stacking completed for new equipment.
• Participating in the migration, basic configuration and rollout of new or upgraded hardware.
