Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Virginia is seeking a Network Deploy Technician to join our growing infrastructure operations team.

You will work with minimal supervision to drive the stability and scalability of our next‑generation networks and help automate and scale our network. The role includes supporting several data center locations, collaborating with internal customers and vendors, and applying best practices for hardware deployment, cabling, and network troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.
• 1+ years of computer networking experience.
• High school or equivalent diploma.

Responsibilities

• Managing work and priorities through ticketing system and workflows to complete customer requests and projects
• Collaborating with various stakeholders to remove project obstacles
• Troubleshooting networking, routing and interconnectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords
• Specifying Power and Cooling requirements and ensuring Hardware Racking/Stacking completed for new equipment
• Participating in the migration, basic configuration and rollout of new or upgraded hardware
