Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Network Deploy Technician to join our AWS infrastructure operations in Boardman, Oregon. You will work with limited supervision to support the stability and scalability of our data-center networks and assist in automating network tasks.

Daily duties include managing work through tickets, coordinating with stakeholders, troubleshooting routing and interconnectivity, and ensuring hardware rack and power/cooling requirements are met.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.
• 1+ years of computer networking experience.
• High school or equivalent diploma.

Responsibilities

• Managing work and priorities through ticketing system and workflows to complete customer requests and projects
• Collaborating with various stakeholders to remove project obstacles
• Troubleshooting networking, routing and interconnectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords
• Specifying Power and Cooling requirements and ensuring Hardware Racking/Stacking completed for new equipment
• Participating in the migration, basic configuration and rollout of new or upgraded hardware
