Job summary

Actalent is seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager to oversee mechanical, electrical, and plumbing scopes for large-scale data center construction from design to turnover. You will coordinate with executives, subcontractors, design teams, vendors, and commissioning to ensure safe, on-time delivery of high‑reliability systems.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years managing mission-critical projects and a strong understanding of MEP interactions, commissioning, and BIM/VDC coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in CM/Mechanical/Electrical or related field.
• 5+ years of construction/PM experience with strong MEP focus.
• Experience in data center/mission-critical or technically complex construction preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs, and equipment docs.
• Familiarity with commissioning/turnover processes for mission-critical facilities; BIM/VDC coordination.
• Proficiency with Procore, Autodesk Build/BIM 360, Bluebeam preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage MEP construction activities from preconstruction through commissioning and turnover.
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, controls, and other systems.
• Lead MEP subcontractors, procurement, scheduling, cost control, and changes.
• Review drawings, specs, submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings for constructability.
• Lead coordination meetings with subcontractors, engineers, BIM/VDC teams and stakeholders.
• Work with BIM/VDC to identify clashes and ensure coordinated models for field installation.
• Monitor installation progress and identify risks affecting milestones.
• Coordinate equipment procurement and long-lead items.
