Job summary

Nscale is seeking a seasoned MEP Manager to act as the owner’s technical expert for all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems on a large data center project. You will work on-site with the General Construction Manager, guiding the full MEP scope from pre-construction through commissioning.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in MEP construction or commissioning, with at least 4 years in data centers, and is proficient in BIM coordination, Procore, and Bluebeam.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of MEP construction or commissioning experience.
• At least 4 years in data center or mission-critical environments.
• Deep knowledge of critical power and cooling systems.
• Experience with BIM coordination and clash resolution workflows.
• Procore and Bluebeam Revu proficiency required.
• OSHA 30 certification required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the owner’s on-site representative for electrical, mechanical, and plumbing scopes.
• Lead MEP coordination meetings and BIM clash reviews.
• Review submittals, drawings, and RFIs for accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor installation sequencing, quality, and code compliance.
• Coordinate MEP with IT/low-voltage, raised floors, and structure.
• Oversee startup, pre-commissioning, and interface with CxA and CX teams.
• Track open items, punch lists, and NCR resolutions.
• Attend FATs and SATs for major equipment as required.
• Provide progress summaries to GC and owner team.
• Assist in reviewing change proposals for owner impact.
