Job summary

Reliant Critical Infrastructure seeks a Senior Pre-Sales Mechanical Engineer to lead design and sales support for data center mechanical systems, including chillers, AHUs, cooling towers, and distribution. You will guide proposals, coordinate with internal teams, and ensure project execution from concept through to operation.

The role demands extensive experience in mission-critical facilities, strong technical writing, and proven ability to communicate with operations teams and executives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in mission-critical mechanical infrastructure and design
• Advanced technical writing skills for proposals and specifications
• Strong project management and client-facing communication abilities
• Ability to lead projects from concept through execution and coordinate with internal/external teams

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level technical guidance for design and implementation of mission-critical mechanical systems
• Collaborate with internal sales and engineering to tailor solutions for clients
• Lead early-stage qualification, specification, and logistics planning for data center projects
• Support estimating by reviewing specifications and coordinating with procurement
• Develop comprehensive system configurations and integration plans for reliability
• Act as liaison between clients and internal stakeholders, communicating complex concepts
• Identify opportunities for cross-department collaboration to enhance offerings
