CGP Data Center and Cloud Solutions in Dallas, TX seeks a Presales Mechanical Engineer to lead technical design, sales support, and project execution for mission-critical data center systems, including chillers, AHUs, and cooling towers. You will collaborate with internal teams and clients, qualify opportunities, review specifications, and develop configurations and integration plans to ensure reliability and customer satisfaction.

Fifteen years plus experience preferred; U.S.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in mission-critical mechanical infrastructure and design.
• Experience with data center mechanical systems and distribution.
• Familiar with ASHRAE Thermal Guidelines.
• Strong technical writing for proposals and specs.
• Proven project leadership from concept to execution.
• Ability to communicate with C-suite and field teams.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level guidance for designing mission-critical mechanical systems.
• Collaborate with sales and engineering to tailor client solutions.
• Lead early-stage qualification, specs, and logistics planning.
• Support estimating by reviewing specs and coordinating with procurement.
• Develop system configurations and integration plans for reliability.
• Act as liaison between clients and internal stakeholders.
• Identify cross-department opportunities to grow services.
