Legacy Professional Services is seeking a Project Engineer – Mechanical QC to support QA/QC activities for mechanical systems on hyperscale data center construction projects.

You will work with construction managers, QA/QC managers, superintendents, subcontractors, commissioning teams, and client representatives to ensure installations meet drawings, specs, submittals, manufacturer requirements, codes, and project quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in mechanical-related field.
• 3+ years in mechanical construction QA/QC or field engineering.
• Ability to read drawings, specifications, submittals and technical docs.
• Experience with field inspections, testing, deficiency tracking, and corrective actions.
• Familiar with Procore, BIM 360, or Bluebeam is helpful.

Responsabilités

• Support QA/QC Managers, Construction Managers, and Supervisors with day-to-day quality activities for mechanical construction.
• Perform and document field inspections of mechanical installations to verify compliance with approved drawings, specs, submittals, manufacturer requirements, codes, and project standards.
• Review mechanical drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and installation requirements to support field quality.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and client representatives to track corrective actions through resolution.
• Assist with punch lists, commissioning activities, turnover documentation, and owner handover.
• Maintain quality records using Procore, BIM 360, and Bluebeam.
