Mechanical QA/QC Lead - Data Center Projects

Job summary

MSR-FSR is seeking a QA/QC- Mechanical professional to perform quality control inspections and document mechanical systems within data-center environments. You will conduct initial, follow-up, and final walk downs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.

Responsibilities include coordinating with contractors, verifying plumbing/HVAC/PVDF systems, maintaining QA documentation, and presenting findings in project meetings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ Mechanical QA experience.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Data Centers, Semiconductor or industrial exp.
• Journeyman experience preferred.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills for all aspects of mechanical systems.
• Must be able to read P&ID (Piping/Mechanical and Instrumentation Diagrams).
• Familiarity with SMACNA.
• Knowledge of systems must include field and workshop fabrication/construction protocols as outlined by semiconductor industry standard specifications including systems testing and acceptance.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial, follow up, and final system walk downs.
• Work closely with contractors and subcontractors to ensure procedures are met.
• Inspect plumbing, HVAC, PVC, and PVDF systems.
• Record and organize QA documentation for the QA program.
• Complete QA documentation and reports for the project.
• Represent company in pre-construction, design, and project meetings.
• Perform final QA inspection on installations.
• Review with system owner and provide technical verification of hardware and configuration per design documents.
