Job summary

Jacobs Advanced Manufacturing is seeking an experienced Preconstruction Manager - Mechanical to bridge engineering design and construction for major industrial projects. The role involves coordinating with internal teams and contractors to develop bid packages and ensure complete scope coverage for HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection on site.

The position supports Data Center projects across the United States with up to 50% travel, open to candidates near any U.S. Jacobs office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent construction experience.
• Certified technical training is a plus.
• Experience interpreting mechanical drawings for construction.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in resolving design/constructability issues.
• Identify opportunities for schedule and cost savings.
• Engage early with trade partners during design phase.
• Develop and review construction bid packages for contractor award.
• Coordinate cross-discipline evaluation of mechanical scope.
