Job summary

Apple Inc. in Prineville, Oregon, is seeking an experienced Data Center Project Manager, Mechanical to lead the full lifecycle of mechanical systems for mission-critical data center construction, from design and procurement through commissioning and closeout.

You will collaborate with design partners, contractors, and internal engineering teams to deliver safe, on-time, on-budget facilities, while upholding ASHRAE standards and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of hyperscale data center construction and commissioning experience.
• Experience managing mechanical equipment procurement lifecycle and vendor schedules.
• Hands-on commissioning planning, schedules, and checklists.
• Familiarity with TAB, ASHRAE 111, NFPA 90A, IMC and related codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical and BMS controls for data center projects from design through closeout.
• Coordinate with designers, contractors, and operations to meet schedule and budget.
• Review BOD/SOW and MEP submittals; ensure alignment with standards.
• Oversee TAB activities, FATs, and commissioning sequencing.
• Manage procurement, submittals, and ROJ delivery and reporting.
• Enforce safety programs and compliance with OSHA and codes.
• Travel domestically and internationally as required (40-50%).
