Job summary

CloudHQ is seeking an Electrical Operations Manager to oversee on-site data center operations, ensuring reliability of power, cooling, and safety systems. You will lead maintenance, coordinate with vendors, and optimize energy use, with limited travel.

The role requires 5+ years in high-reliability data center operations, an Electrical Engineering Technology degree or equivalent, and strong technical writing skills. On-call support and after-hours readiness are expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in operations and maintenance in a high‑reliability Data Center environment.
• Electrical Engineering Technology Degree or equivalent experience.
• Proven ability to read design drawings and use MS Office (Excel/Project/Visio/AutoCAD).

Responsibilities

• Provide on‑call emergency response 24/7 with occasional weekend/after‑hour shifts.
• Maintain energy efficiency and optimize electrical systems.
• Oversee training plans and supervise contract staff and outsourced vendors.
