Job summary

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is seeking a Facilities Operations Manager – Mechanical to lead safe, reliable operation of mission-critical mechanical systems in OCI data centers. Based on-site in Shackelford, Texas, you will own mechanical plant operations, preventive maintenance, incident response, and technician leadership across cooling and HVAC infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in mechanical plant operations or uptime-critical environments.
• 2–4+ years leading technicians or service teams in live operations.
• Strong knowledge of chilled water systems, cooling towers, pumps, and related controls.
• Experience with 24x7 service, vendor management, and incident response.
• Familiarity with BMS, SCADA, DCIM, and CMMS tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations, maintenance, and service for mechanical and HVAC infrastructure.
• Own plant readiness, preventive maintenance, backlog management, and inspections.
• Serve as primary site technical lead for mechanical systems and incident escalation.
• Manage technicians, contractors, and vendors; ensure safety and SLA adherence.
• Drive troubleshooting for failures and maintain uptime; improve KPIs.
• Collaborate with engineering, commissioning, and controls teams on retrofits and turnover.
• Lead root-cause analyses and ensure corrective actions are completed.
• Maintain audit-ready records and CMMS data; enforce safety and compliance.
