DC World Builderz is seeking a hands‑on Mechanical Engineer to support OFCI for owner‑furnished equipment in hyperscale data center programs. You will review consultant packages, develop specifications, lead submittal reviews, and help validate new cooling designs across sites.

The role requires 5+ years in data center mechanicals, travel 25–30% domestically, and the ability to work across design, procurement, and commissioning phases.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of data center mechanical experience, including OFCI or critical infrastructure.
• Experience with chiller plants, CRAH/CRAC units, fan walls, CDUs, and liquid loops.

Responsabilidades

• Review consultant mechanical design packages for OFCI alignment, scope accuracy, and integration with cooling architectures.
• Write, update, and maintain OFCI mechanical specifications, basis‑of‑design documents, and equipment standards.
• Lead OFCI mechanical submittal reviews, factory witness tests, and vendor technical clarifications.
• Support development and validation of new cooling designs (chiller plants, CRAH/CRAC, fan walls, CDUs, liquid loop systems).
• Coordinate with design teams, vendors, and construction partners to ensure OFCI equipment meets performance, controls, and interface requirements.
• Provide mechanical OFCI support during design, procurement, installation, and early commissioning phases.
• Maintain documentation, reports, and technical communication across internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Navigate active construction environments safely while collaborating with contractors, engineers, and site personnel.
