ROSS Consultancy USA is leading an OFCI Manager role for a major hyperscale data center project in Arizona. You will oversee the OFCI equipment schedule from vendor release to delivery and installation, coordinating with owners, vendors and site logistics to keep the project on track.

The role requires organizing trackers and managing documentation, with experience in data centers or mission critical environments preferred.

Competenze

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in OFCI, equipment, procurement or logistics coordination on large construction projects.
• Experience in data center or mission critical projects preferred.
• Good understanding of major MEP equipment such as switchgear, generators, UPS, transformers and cooling systems.
• Highly organized and comfortable managing trackers in Excel, Smartsheet or Procore.
• Confident coordinating between owners, vendors and trade partners to keep schedule.

Today we support some of the biggest semiconductor and data center projects in the country, across project management, planning, engineering, quality, safety, and commissioning.

We’re hiring an OFCI (Owner Furnished, Contractor Installed) Manager for a major hyperscale data center project in Arizona.

On a build this size, owner-furnished equipment is a huge part of the job. Generators, switchgear, UPS and cooling equipment all need to arrive on time, in good condition and ready to install when the trades need it.

Reporting to the Senior OFCI Project Manager, you’ll keep all of that moving, with real visibility across the owner, vendors and project team.

OFCI Manager: What you’ll be doing

• Managing the OFCI equipment schedule from vendor release through to delivery and installation
• Coordinating deliveries, receiving, inspection and storage with the owner, vendors and site logistics
• Building and maintaining the OFCI tracker and reporting status to the project team and owner
• Handling damaged, short or incorrect deliveries and driving them to resolution
• Making sure vendor submittals, documentation and installation requirements are in place
• Working with trade partners to line up equipment installs with the construction schedule
• Coordinating vendor support for startup and commissioning with the Cx team

OFCI Manager - What we’re looking for

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in an OFCI, equipment, procurement or logistics coordination role on large construction projects
• Data center or mission critical experience is ideal, but we’re open to people from semiconductor, industrial, healthcare or other complex builds
• Good understanding of major MEP equipment such as switchgear, generators, UPS, transformers and cooling systems
• Highly organized and comfortable managing trackers in Excel, Smartsheet or Procore
• Confident working between owners, vendors and trade partners to keep things on schedule
