Job summary

Stantec’s Buildings team is seeking an MCF Engineer to perform technical responsibilities under supervision. You will develop basic designs, coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, and contribute to project deliverables and client satisfaction.

This role opens to any Stantec location with an office presence for the right candidate. Ideal candidates hold an accredited engineering degree and at least 3 years of related experience; PE/FE/EIT certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Accredited engineering degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 3 years related industry experience.
• Registered professional engineer (PE), Fundamentals of engineering (FE) / engineer in training (EIT) or other professional certification preferred.
• Datacenter experience preferred but not required.
• Possess knowledge of engineering practices within own discipline.
• Knowledge of design/construction concepts, codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Develops basic system designs within own discipline under supervision.
• Delegates tasks to project designers as appropriate.
• Prepares project deliverables per client’s scope of work.
• Coordinates with all disciplines to integrate work and client requests.
• Follows quality management process and reviews deliverables for QA/AC.
• Assists with reviews of shop drawings, submittals, and RFIs.
• Participates in engineering community activities for professional growth.
• Assists the Project Engineer on project tasks.
• Meets utilization goals and adheres to budget.
