Job summary

DLR Group is seeking a Mechanical Engineer focused on data center projects to design HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems for high-performance facilities. You will collaborate with architects and engineers and coordinate using Revit to deliver innovative, reliable solutions.

The candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or architectural engineering, 10+ years in MEP or integrated design, 5+ years in data centers, and strong BIM/Revit experience with excellent communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering.
• 10+ years in MEP or integrated design for commercial/public projects.
• 5+ years in data center design.
• Experience with BIM workflows (Revit MEP).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients on integrated design.
• Create and coordinate documents using Revit.
• Perform mechanical/HVAC calculations and code research.
• Perform plumbing and fire protection calculations and code research.
• Write and review specifications.
• Review shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals.
• Conduct site visits as needed.
• Manage mechanical and interdisciplinary project teams.
