AWS is seeking a Mechanical Controls Engineer to join the Data Center Engineering team. You will ensure operational integrity and reliability of critical infrastructure in the world’s largest cloud platform.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop SOPs and support commissioning of new deployments, while mentoring junior engineers and upholding safety and efficiency standards.

Formación

• 4+ years of industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities including data centers, power generation or oil and gas facilities.
• Experience in commissioning.
• Bachelor's degree.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and maintain critical data center infrastructure including electrical, mechanical, and control systems to ensure maximum uptime and availability.
• Perform root cause analysis on infrastructure failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs for all data center critical systems.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and construction teams to support capacity delivery and infrastructure improvements.
• Develop and refine SOPs and EOPs for infrastructure systems.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability, efficiency, and safety across the data center portfolio.
• Support commissioning and validation activities for new infrastructure deployments and upgrades.
• Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
