Job summary

BSO is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for its Vineland, NJ data center operations. You will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair critical infrastructure such as electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and life safety systems to ensure uptime.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with UPS, generators, CRAC/CRAH, BMS/DCIM, and a commitment to safe, compliant operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical/vocational training or associate degree preferred.
• 2+ years in facilities maintenance, data center ops, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, HVAC systems and safety standards.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on critical infrastructure.
• Maintain UPS, generators, ATS/switchgear, and PDUs.
• Maintain CRAC/CRAH units, chillers, and cooling towers.
• Monitor fire/life safety, BMS, and DCIM tools for uptime.
• Conduct facility inspections and document readings and logs.
• Coordinate with vendors for specialized repairs and inspections.
• Follow safety protocols including LOTO and electrical safety.
