Job summary

CyrusOne in Whitney, Texas, is seeking a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler to join a 24/7/365 Operations & Maintenance team. You will plan, schedule, and execute preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance to minimize interruptions to data center operations, under the direction of the Sr Facility Manager.

This role requires coordinating with Engineering, Operations and customers, managing materials and spare parts inventory, utilizing CMMS, and developing SOPs and work plans.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; advanced degree/certification preferred.
• 5+ years of industrial or Data Center experience.
• 3+ years maintenance and supervisory experience.
• 3+ years maintenance planner/scheduler experience.
• Knowledge of Change management processes and Work Order Control.
• Experience with plant equipment and instrumentation.
• Proficiency with MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Project.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule all submitted work orders to ensure scheduled work is properly prepared.
• Lead communication within the facility between Management, Operations and Engineering.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Operations and Customers to ensure maintenance activities are completed on time.
• Manage materials planning and spare parts inventory while coordinating sourcing and purchasing.
• Utilize CMMS to schedule work, track parts and hours, and review completed tasks.
• Develop SOPs or work plans for maintenance areas and schedule major site outages.
• Coordinate between Maintenance, Operations and Engineering to minimize impact on throughput.
• Assist with capital project planning and execution.
